Please read these terms carefully before submitting your application. By submitting your registration and payment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. ELIGIBILITY
- Participants must be female, aged 18-30 years old at the time of registration.
- Teams must consist of 2-5 members. All team members must be registered and listed at the time of application.
- Employees, interns, or direct family members of Depilex Beauty Clinic & Institute and Inspiring Women Pakistan are not eligible to participate.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
2.1.
Ownership of Competition Work: All marketing strategies, creative materials, presentations, campaign concepts, brand positioning, and any other intellectual property created by participants during the course of this competition ("Competition Work") shall become the exclusive property of Inspiring Women Pakistan upon submission.
2.2.
Assignment of Rights: By participating in this competition, you irrevocably assign all rights, title, and interest in the Competition Work to Depilex Beauty Clinic & Institute, including but not limited to copyright, trademark rights, and any other intellectual property rights.
2.3.
Restrictions on Use:
- Participants agree that they shall NOT: Use, reproduce, or adapt the Competition Work for any other brand, client, or commercial purpose
- Share, sell, or license the Competition Work to any third party
- Claim ownership or authorship of the work once submitted
2.4. Inspiring Women Pakistan reserves the right to implement, modify, or choose not to implement any submitted strategy without compensation beyond the stated competition prizes.
3. CONTENT RIGHTS & MEDIA USAGE
3.1.
Photography & Videography: Inspiring Women Pakistan reserves the right to photograph, film, and record all competition events, including but not limited to the mentorship day, final pitch presentations, and winner announcements.
3.2.
Content Ownership: All photographs, videos, audio recordings, and other media captured during competition events ("Event Content") shall be the exclusive property of Inspiring Women Pakistan.
3.3.
Usage Rights: By participating, you grant Inspiring Women Pakistan perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free rights to:
- Use Event Content for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes
- Publish Event Content on websites, social media platforms, print materials, and other media
- Edit, modify, or adapt Event Content as needed
- Share Event Content with partners, sponsors, and media outlets
3.4.
Participant Likenesses: You consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, voice, and biographical information in connection with the Event Content without additional compensation.
3.5.
Submission Materials: All videos, moodboards, and written submissions provided during registration may be used by Inspiring Women Pakistan for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, case studies, and future competition marketing.
3.6.
Opt-Out: If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify the organizers in writing at least 48 hours before each event. Note that opting out may limit your ability to fully participate in certain activities.
3.7. Participants may use Event Content for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., personal social media posts) provided they tag @inspiringwomenpk and @depilex.
4. CODE OF CONDUCT
4.1.
Professional Behavior: All participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times during the competition, including online interactions, in-person events, and communications with organizers, judges, mentors, and fellow participants.
4.2.
Prohibited Conduct: The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate disqualification:
- Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind based on gender, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Plagiarism, cheating, or submitting work that is not original to your team
- Sharing competition materials, briefs, or insider information with non-participants
- Disruptive, violent, or threatening behavior
- Misrepresentation of credentials, experience, or team composition
- Use of offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language
- Damage to property or facilities during events
- Violation of any applicable laws or regulations
4.3.
Academic Integrity: All submitted work must be original and created by your team specifically for this competition. Use of AI tools for ideation is permitted, but final work must be substantially created by team members.
4.4.
Confidentiality: Participants may be exposed to confidential business information about Depilex. You agree to maintain confidentiality and not disclose such information to third parties.
4.5.
Social Media Conduct: Participants are encouraged to share their competition experience on social media. However, posts must be respectful and may not disparage the organizers, sponsors, judges, or other participants.
4.6.
Reporting Violations: If you witness or experience any violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to the organizers at [email] or [WhatsApp number].
4.7.
Enforcement: The organizers reserve the right to investigate any alleged violations and take appropriate action, including warnings, disqualification, or removal from events. Decisions regarding Code of Conduct violations are final.
5. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
5.1.
Limited Liability: Inspiring Women Pakistan and Depilex Beauty Clinic & Institute shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred by participants in connection with this competition.
5.2.
Participant Responsibility: Participants are responsible for their own safety, travel arrangements, accommodation, and any costs associated with participation.
5.3.
Indemnification: By participating, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inspiring Women Pakistan, Depilex Beauty Clinic & Institute, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation or violation of these terms.
6. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
6.1. Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for competition administration and communication.
6.2. By registering, you consent to receive emails, WhatsApp messages, and other communications related to the competition.
6.3. Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as necessary for competition operations (e.g., with Depilex for winner implementation).
6.4. You may request deletion of your personal data after the competition concludes by contacting [email].
7. GENERAL PROVISIONS
7.1.
Amendments: Organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants.
7.2.
Force Majeure: Organizers are not responsible for cancellation or modification of the competition due to circumstances beyond their control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.).
7.3.
Disputes: Any disputes arising from this competition shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Participants agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lahore, Pakistan.
7.4.
Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
7.5.
Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between participants and organizers regarding the competition.
7.6.
Language: In case of any discrepancy between English and Urdu versions of these terms, the English version shall prevail.
7.7.
Organizer Decisions: All decisions made by the organizers and judges regarding the competition, including shortlisting, scoring, and winner selection, are final and binding.
